Happy Halloween!

This morning, we spent some time thinking about different words with a double o in them. It started slowly and steadily, but then they all came flooding in.

Can you think of any others?

Today, staff and residents wore pink as part of Think Pink for breast cancer awareness. We enjoyed pink snacks and tasty treats.

In the morning, we played a competitive game of balloon tennis, and in the afternoon, we relaxed to music.

We are also taking donations and raising money for the charity.

This afternoon we had a competitive game of tin can ally..... I'm sure I said there were no bonus points for hitting me. Of course they had other ideas. 🥫

Yesterday morning we had a wonderful time joining in with some seated Zumba and having a little dance. 💃👯‍♂️

This morning, we had a ball-catching quiz challenge. After catching the ball, the residents were asked a question linked to their individual interests. ⚽️❓️

This afternoon, we tested our creative abilities with a game of Pictionary. It was nice to see what people came up with to draw. 👩‍🎨👨‍🎨

What can you draw? 🖼

Yesterday morning we got a little bit competitive, trying to beat others and ourselves in a game of quoits. Some of the residents were very shocked and thought it was a fluke how well they did. ⭕️

That afternoon, we had a game of eye spy. Some letters we found much more challenging than others. The hardest one we had was the letter P, which was a picture on the wall.👁🔎

This morning we played a game of Snakes and Ladders. Some people were very unlucky, as they kept finding the slippery snakes 🐍

This afternoon, we did a little test on our minds and sense of touch, trying to guess what was in the bags.🛍🤔👜
