Your design & build team should never be working in silos because what looks great on paper, needs to work just as well on site.

At Inspire, our design and construction teams work side by side throughout every project, making sure the vision, the practicalities and the finer details are always aligned.

From reviewing plans and discussing structural considerations to resolving challenges and making decisions together, these conversations are happening long before they become problems.

Less miscommunication. Fewer surprises. Better decisions & ultimately, a more seamless experience for our clients.

That’s the difference when design and build work as one team, from concept to completion

That feeling when months of planning, designing and building finally come together…

From the first conversations and initial concepts to the final finishing touches, there’s something incredibly rewarding about handing over a kitchen that’s been thoughtfully designed around our clients and the way they live.

Seeing it all come together is one thing, but knowing our clients get to enjoy it for years to come? That’s the best part.

Another beautiful kitchen, ready to become the heart of the home.

6 things I’ll never do as an interior designer…

01. Choose a paint colour without testing it first.
Lighting changes everything. What looks perfect on a sample card can look completely different in your space.

02. Design a kitchen around aesthetics alone.
The most beautiful kitchen in the world means nothing if the layout doesn’t work for the people using it.

03. Treat lighting as an afterthought.
Lighting can completely transform a space, and it needs to be considered from the very beginning.

04. Buy everything from one retailer.
The most interesting interiors are layered, combining different brands, finishes, textures and price points.

05. Ignore the architecture of a property.
Good design should complement the character of a home, not compete with it.

06. Push my personal style onto a client.
It’s not about creating a home I’d want to live in. It’s about creating a home that feels like them.

The best interiors aren’t necessarily the ones that follow all the rules. They’re the ones that feel considered, personal and work beautifully for everyday life.

Interior designers — what would you add to this list?

“You can’t turn that into a kitchen…”
Challenge accepted. 👀

At Project Pear Tree, what was once a living space has been completely reimagined as the heart of the home.

A reminder that sometimes the best layout isn’t about working with how a house has always been used, it’s about looking at the space differently and seeing what it could become.

And this one was definitely worth rethinking.

Who doesn’t love pantry?! And a pantry this beautiful deserves to be fully stocked 🥫🧃🫙

Bespoke cabinetry designed to make every inch work harder, with plenty of considered storage for all those everyday essentials.

It might be empty for now, but we can already imagine the jars labelled, shelves organised and everything perfectly in its place. This is going to be an absolute dream for our clients to fill when the space is compete.

From current reality to envisaged render… and why we plan the details before the build begins.

Phase 1 is now underway at Project Middlefarm, but long before works started on site, time was spent developing the design and aligning with our clients on exactly how their finished home should look and feel.

Detailed renders allow us to explore ideas, refine materials and finishes, and make key decisions together before they become costly decisions on site.

It means everyone starts the build with the same vision, client, designer and construction team.

Now, we get to watch that vision become reality. How similar to the render do you think the finished project will be? 🤎

A little architectural inspiration from the streets of Sitges 🤎Arches, stained glass, marble — even the most functional elements are made beautiful. So much inspiration in every little detail.

Proof lighting doesn’t have to be boring...

Lighting is one of those details that can completely change the feel of a space and we love using it as an opportunity to add a little personality.

Statement pendants, delicate wall lights, unexpected shapes and beautiful finishes… each one chosen to complement the room while bringing something of its own.

Because sometimes the most functional details can be the most beautiful 💡

From dated to Dovecote...

This kitchen may have been small and slim, but the aim was to make it feel anything but.

We introduced taller cabinetry to draw the eye upwards, under-cabinet lighting to open up the quartz worktop areas, and cabinetry in this beautiful shade of butter yellow to create a brighter, more spacious feel throughout.

This wasn’t just about how the kitchen looked, we also increased both storage and functionality with a tall larder unit and clever pull-outs in the corners, making much better use of every inch available.

Same footprint. More storage. More functionality. A completely different feel.
