šImportant Announcementš
As of Saturday, April 5th, I will be officially closing White Stitch Lane. This decision hasnāt come lightly; this business has been such a huge part of my life for over 12 years āļø šŖ”
I started WSL while on maternity leave, looking for something to occupy my racing mind. Sewing became my sanctuary! It has helped me through some really challenging times, redundancy, COVID, anxiety, moving home, and so much more. āØ
However, over the last few years, Iāve sadly found myself falling out of love with the juggle. Balancing self-employment, a part-time job, and running a happy home is no small feat! š“ The rising costs of materials and postage (well, everything!) have made it even more challenging. While I've tried to keep my prices as low as possible, the reality is that handmade creations take time, and I deserve to be compensated fairly for my work. Unfortunately, with so many people feeling the pinch, Iāve realised there just isnāt a big enough market for my creations anymore.
Iāll still be tapping into my creativity and using up the fabric I have left! Iāll be making gifts for friends and family as I find sewing so therapeutic, and it will always be a part of my life.
I want to thank all the incredible people Iāve met on this journeyā¦.fellow crafters and wonderful customers alike. Thank you for being so amazing and for supporting my business! š
