Ciao, I’m Gina! The owner/founder/stylist/designer/buyer and everything else behind OTTO!

During my time at a recent networking event, I was lucky enough to grab a headshot. Now, even though I’m fine on stories, chatting away - I actually dread being in front of a camera, having my own picture taken! But somehow the lovely photographer, Michaela Ainger, managed to not make me look too awkward and I now have my own professional headshot for the business, which feels like a big moment 🤣

Anyway, I thought it was a good idea to use this as a way to reintroduce myself 🥰 behind the scenes, it’s just me in my own interior world! So if you’re scrolling, a new follower, a day one follower or walking past HQ, please do say hello 👋

Sunday Styling Tip ✨

Let’s talk Vignettes! A vignette is a small, styled moment within a room - not the whole space, just a focused snapshot that tells a mood or a story!

Vignettes make a space feel thoughtful and lived in and provide little snaps of beauty throughout your home. They can be styled on bedside tables, coffee tables, shelves, console tables, walls etc! 🖼️

How can I create a vignette?
1. Choose your space (surface/shelf)
2. Start with one anchor (lamp, artwork, mirror)
3. Add one organic element (flowers, plant, stems)
4. Add a personal or textural item (photograph, book, ceramic)
5. Leave some breathing space for your eye to rest
Side note - candles work well as they can also bring a little warm, light during evenings.
