A little background to where the rose petal hearts began...

For our wedding I made confetti using the roses from our garden. I decided to not only dry the petals, but to individually hand cut them into hearts. It took a long time but I absolutely loved the effect and our brilliant photographer, James Grist captured it perfectly. I kept the hearts that caught in my hair and dress as a beautiful reminder of all the love thrown at us that day. 💕

While there were no fresh Rose petals to pick over winter, i had plenty to keep me entertained! 🌹Keep a mini jar of hand...
