Tilt stained glasswindow repair and draught proofing carried out in Downham Market. Working throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. Tilt window removed for repair, rot cut out including the glazing bars at the bottom of the window. repairs with sapele splicing and repair care resin to the frame and the sash. Reglazed with original glass, putty and primer ready to decorate. Draught proofing fitted around the sash to improve draughts and noise reduction

Sash Window repair and draught proofing carried out at Monks Eleigh in Suffolk. Bottom rails replaced and three lower sashes. Sill repairs to three sash window frames. One complete sash window sill replacement with repairs to frame sides. Three sash windows rebalanced with new sash cords and adjusted sash weights. Draught proofing fitted into the upper sash and meeting rail of the lower sash. New parting beads and new staff beads added both containing a sraught proofing brush. Areas of repair and bare timber primed ready for future decoration. Missing putty replaced and new locks and lifts also fitted. The first stage of complete refurbishment of all the windows on the building.

Day two. Check yesterday's finished window working as it should. Rebalance and start cording sash window number two.

Sash window sill replacement and repairs. New sapele window sill and resin repair now cured. Repair sanded and small areas tidied up with filler. Sanded again and primed with zinsser 123 primer ready to decorate. The Brewers resin system shows real promise. Cures nicely, sands and pants well. Sash window then rebuild with draught proofing, adjusted sash weights, new Cords and new ironmongery
