It was so exciting to see the weather forecast this morning! Finally from mid week onwards, it looks like Summer temperatures and sunshine are heading our way! And that means it’s time to bring out the lace shawl patterns. Perfect knitting for Summer, the yarn we choose for these shawls will always have a hefty percentage of silk. Although they look complex, a well written pattern will make your project a joy - and the sense of achievement when you block out your finished piece gives you a feeling of pure happiness. The shawls here use just one or two skeins, so you can splurge on a luxury yarn. We’re looking forward to Summer garden parties and weddings where we can bring out our mini works of art.
