Home dressing is the finishing touch to our service, the final layer that transforms a beautifully designed space into a home that feels special and unique.

While we consider every element from the beginning of a project, it’s these carefully curated details that bring everything together. This selection of materials is for a beautiful period home we’re currently working on in Norwich.

Creating a seamless transition from functional family living to more refined spaces for relaxing and entertaining is central to this project.

We’re helping to upgrade their kitchen, and a more ‘grown-up’ TV lounge. The spaces need to work hard during the day, supporting busy family life, everyday routines and practical living - while effortlessly shifting into calmer, more considered environments for unwinding or hosting friends in the evening.

By really understanding how our clients live, socialise and use their home, we can design spaces that strike the right balance between comfort, practicality and understated sophistication.

Working closely together, we ensure every detail, material and layout choice supports the way they live, making the very best use of the space.

These uniquely shaped marble tiles are lovingly and painstakingly prepared and laid by hand, a process that's demanding in precision, skill, and time, and allows us to create exceptional results.

The finished effect is modern, fresh, and beautifully clean, with the intricate mosaic work adding drama and depth of colour.

The kitchen and dining area at our Walberswick project has been designed entirely with ease of living in mind.

With its close proximity to the coast, this home is intended as a place to unwind, gather and entertain, and that thinking has shaped every design decision along the way.

From where you’ll naturally stand to prepare food and drinks to how guests will move through the space, every detail has been carefully considered to support effortless day-to-day living and relaxed hosting.

A key part of the design was creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. We’re creating a new stone patio area, two lounge spaces and a covered dining area, so ensuring a strong relationship between these outdoor zones and the main kitchen was essential from both a practical and lifestyle perspective.

The flow between inside and out has been carefully considered, allowing the home to connect naturally to its surroundings and make the most of coastal living, while supporting easy entertaining, relaxed family life and effortless day-to-day functionality.

It’s essential that we maximise the potential of what is already a lovely family home, even in its current stripped-back condition. Full of character and possibility, we’re so excited to enhance what’s already there and help this home truly shine.

When it comes to a client’s home, trust is everything.

We know how important it is for our clients to feel reassured that they have the right professionals by their side, people who genuinely listen, understand what they want to achieve, and care about delivering it properly.

With years of experience behind us, we’re always exploring innovative products, techniques, and processes to create homes that are not only beautiful and unique but also comfortable and environmentally responsible.

But beyond the design and technical detail, we believe the experience of working with us matters just as much.

From regular site videos and progress updates that keep clients involved every step of the way, to the friendly support from our team whenever they get in touch, we want the whole process to feel approachable, transparent, and enjoyable.

This beautiful upholstery fabric, selected for a pair of bespoke occasional chairs in the snug area of our Walberswick project, is incredibly special, having unique chameleon-like qualities.

The way the colour changes as the fabric moves creates incredible depth, giving it a beautifully rich and luxurious feel. It’s one of those materials that has to be seen in person - the video really doesn’t do it justice.

Paired with the carefully chosen textures and finishes within this vision board, it gives a real sense of how each element works together to create a layered, cohesive scheme full of warmth and character.

Seeing these combinations come together is always one of our favourite parts of the design process.

In spring and summer, lighting becomes even more important within the home.

Our spaces are naturally filled with daylight for longer, brighter days and lighter evenings, but once the sun begins to fade, it’s the softer layers of lighting that create warmth, comfort, and atmosphere.

Our knowledge allows us to create bespoke solutions, creating lighting like this, instantly bringing a sense of cosiness and elegance to a room and helping a space transition beautifully from day to evening.

Lighting is something we think about all year round, and the right lighting scheme can completely transform how a home looks and feels, whatever the season.

We’re pleased to unveil our new Swadling Brassware display, now on show in our Unthank Road showroom in Norwich.

This display is a fantastic way to showcase the incredible quality of these beautifully hand-finished products, which we confidently specify for our clients, all handmade here in the UK. You really need to see and feel them in person to appreciate the craftsmanship and detail.

What we love most about Swadling Brassware is not only the exceptional quality, but how bespoke each piece can be - tailored completely to our clients’ individual specifications.

We’ve chosen a selection of the most popular finishes for the display, all carefully curated to work across a range of styles and spaces.

It’s also been a pleasure working alongside the Swadling team, and a real honour to hear they’re looking to replicate elements of how we’ve displayed their products within future showroom displays of their own.

While the final aesthetics will always be an important part of our work, they’re only one layer of a much broader process.

Behind every project is a depth of experience that reaches into the full development of a home, from early planning and structural decisions, through to construction, and the final details.

We're involved from the very beginning, working across each stage and managing the process as a whole. Not just how a space looks, but how it’s built, how it functions, and how everything comes together.
