Another tapestry just finished. A good example of the importance of paying attention to edges whilst weaving and how not to mix vastly different weights of yarn in the same piece unless you are aiming for wavy edges.

Socks for Keith. Poor chap always seems to be near the bottom of the list. I am really pleased with the way the stripes are so evenly dyed. I usually end up with more random results but these are definitely repeated stripes.

My latest spin. This beautiful lace weight yarn was a pleasure to spin from witchcraftylady‘Just Touched’ colourway on super wash polwarth with 20% nylon. The very subtle use of colour in this unique dyeing technique has spun up into a soft grey with suggestions of pink blue and yellow. Lovely if I say it myself 😊
