What's even better jam-roll-candles have been invited by them to pop in on Sunday, 5th December (from 10 am to however long you lovely people keep coming ) and will set up a stall. For anyone looking to purchase a real Christmas Tree this year, then look no further than the Harrow Road Community Centre, Wollaton.
We will be selling British grown, premium Nordmann fir trees at 5-6ft, 6-7ft and 7-8ft. All trees are from a farm in North Yorkshire and were cut only a few weeks ago guaranteeing that fresh Christmas tree smell that we all love!
All trees are also accredited by the British Christmas Tree Growers Association, guaranteeing you a quality product that will not be brown by Christmas Day and 2-3 seedlings are planted for each tree cut ensuring they are sustainable.
If that is not enough, £5 from the sale of every tree will be donated to the community centre to support their dementia services which are particularly important given all of the cuts to community centre services that are currently being considered by local authorities. We have promised the community centre that we will try to raise £1,000 which is only 200 trees but in order to do that we really need anyone and everyone to come down and buy a tree – if you’re not local to Wollaton, then make sure you’re still telling your friends and family who are local to pop down and see us. We will be at the community centre every Friday from 3pm and every weekend from 10am until Christmas. I’ve attached a flyer which has some details on pricing and a couple of pictures from the farm! I promise – you really will not be disappointed if you buy a tree from us!
