I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my Etsy store over the last 6(!) years! This hasn’t been an easy decision to make but I’ve decided to leave it on a high and close my store. I have thoroughly enjoyed making thousands (!!) of little animals for you all but I’m afraid I just don’t have the time to keep it up anymore. I still have a little bit of stock left so I may post available items on my instagram and you can get in touch if you want them. But this isn’t the end of my crocheting (and knitting) journey as I hope to turn my attention to even more creations and writing up some patterns etc, so stay tuned! 💙

Did you know that the pink “shell” on a pink fairy armadillo isn’t primarily for protection but is used to help regulate temperature? It contains blood vessels that empty and fill to control body temperature giving it its rosy pink hue!
