I know I’ve not been posting much recently, but there’s a good reason for it this time.

We’re away celebrating my handsome husbands 40th birthday! Super honoured to spend today with him on this gorgeous holiday 🚢 ☀️ it’s been a fabulous week and I’m looking forward to celebrating more later 🍽️ 🥂 🕺

Made my own Beedrill cushion cover for my hubby’s birthday! Couldn’t find a pattern anywhere so just made it up (the pokeballs were from the pokemon crochet book though).

Was so hard to make this, wanted it to be a surprise so had to work on it when he wasn’t around 🤣 so many times I had to swipe it all into a basket when I heard him coming home 🫣 got there in the end though 🥳 super happy with it!

Yay!!!! 🙌🏻 I’m so happy to be able to share these pictures now 💜 I was picked to be a tester for someone for their new pattern and it was such a gorgeous cute pattern!! I’ve never tested before and it was so much fun, got to chat to lots of other crocheters and talk crochet ! 🧶 such lovely people!

Tried a pattern for someone, bear with me because I didn’t have the right yarn 😅 I was using what I had. But it’s not bad for a first attempt! Very fiddly! Did go wrong at one point- see if you can spot it 🤭 and no it’s not the joins of colours - I just mucked that up!

I’m clearing out some of the advent calendar crochet items I made last Christmas (plus a spare glasses case 🤓)

Worked this one up this afternoon. Going to a lovely lady this week as a leaving gift 🌻 ☀️ can be used just as pretty decor, or as a pair of coasters in a basket! 🧺

Cheerful glasses cases! 🌻 😀

A friend has asked me to make some, so I’m playing about with two different designs. Got a blister or two on my fingers working with dk yarn (it’s thin and starts to squeak!) but not bad first attempts!
