At what point can you call yourself a cellular blind specialist? 😅

Another fantastic install by our team for our customer in Keyworth, Nottingham.

Along with our apex blinds we installed four Coulisse units in our premium 45mm cellular fabric.

Coulisse is quick becoming a favourite of ours and offers some options just not available with other systems on the market and we're proud to be exclusive installers in the Nottingham area!

We've been a little quiet on social media recently. Between 60th birthdays and blind installs, summer holidays and shutter fits, it's been a busy few months for Luna Blinds.

Amongst the (controlled) chaos, our team completed this stunning shutter install for a lovely customer of ours in Lambley, Nottingham.

Due to one of our director's turning the big 60 our office and showroom hours will look a little different over the next couple of weeks as our family team celebrate and also take a well earned break.

From July 30th through the August 18th our showroom will be closed and no appointments will be available.

Our office will be fully closed from August 10th through to August 18th. This includes all forms of contact and any emails, calls or social media enquiries will be responded to upon our return to the office.

From July 30th to August 7th, our office will be ran by skeleton staff, this means phone enquiries may take a little longer to be answered and where possible we'd recommend contacting by email. Please note emails make also take a little longer to reply to but we will respond to everyone as soon as possible.

In the mean time we'd like to thank you all for your patience during this period but most importantly we'd like to wish our co-director Tony a very, very happy 60th birthday and a well earned two week rest.

It's not just residential projects we work on!

Team Luna have been busy the last couple of weeks carrying out a range of commercial installs and quotations from a worldwide clothing brands factory to this awesome install at Croft Primary School, Sutton in Ashfield.

As part of our continued work with the school we refreshed both the Year 5 & Year 6 blocks with new vertical blinds and most importantly, up to date child safety features!

Our shutters are proving to be more popular than ever, with installs & deliveries week on week, we're loving being kept busy & working on our customer's lovely projects.

We've recently invested in a new shutter line up in our showroom. You can now see multiple colour options, layouts & configurations in person.

Not only that, we've now added an additional UK made range of shutters by market leaders Luxaflex. This is a high end, quick turnaround shutter in multiple colours & configurations.

Our customer had recently converted their loft into a stunning main bedroom and contacted us to help control their shading as well as manage the heat in the room.

We installed two motorised shaped pleated blinds finished in blackout cellular fabric. Not only does this help block out the light, it also helps keep the room cooler, something much needed in loft rooms as the warmer months roll around.

The blinds are controlled via Somfy motorisation and were made bespoke to our customers windows, allowing us to cover the 'tricky' flat top section.

*Our customer is awaiting a window sill to be installed which will reduce the gap at the bottom and we were asked to finish the blinds to this point*

We've recently carried out several installs at The Hawthorns, a lovely new build development in Sutton in Ashfield.

It's always a privilege when customers choose us to add the finishing touches to their new home, transforming their space and adding much needed control over shading and privacy.

The perfect home for shutters!

It was a privilege to install our wood shutters to the front of our customer's lovely home in Castle Donington, consisting of 6 windows and a stunning three section bay window.

Keeping the shutters period appropriate was key for this job and we did just that by opting for our 63mm slat and offset tilt rods.

We've been a little quiet on here lately with the whole team working extra hard on surveys, installs and keeping Team Luna running smoothly.

With that in mind, our team will be taking some time off over the Easter bank holiday weekend with our office and showroom closing from Friday 3rd April through to Monday 6th April.

All emails, social media messages and phone enquiries will be responded to when we return to work on Tuesday 7th.

A few photos from a recent install of ours at our customer's new home in East Bridgford.

Roman blinds and Fauxwood Venetian blinds are becoming a really popular option for customers looking to control shading and privacy whilst finishing some spaces with a softer, luxury touch.
