✨ Bedroom transformation completed this week in long eaton✨

Really pleased with how this one turned out!

The feature wall was finished with a beautiful blue floral wallpaper, paired with flat matt ceilings and walls painted in Dulux White Mist for a clean, fresh finish throughout.

We also fitted all new window trim and renewed the sealant to give everything a crisp, clean edge 👌

While carrying out the work, we uncovered an issue where a previous plasterer had plastered directly over old wallpaper 🤪🤯. (Nothing surprises me anymore). Unfortunately this had blown and started failing, so we removed the damaged area, repaired it properly, and made sure the surface was sound before redecorating.

Attention to preparation always makes the difference in the final result 👍

That's this weeks job completed in Long Eaton. A bedroom refreshed and 10x doors painted in a nice black satin finish. All sanded, cleaned and primed prior to the finish coat to give them the best longevity.

New plaster and skirting, all correctly primed

Complete revamp of this one 😍

This kept me on my toes to be honest.
It had a bit of everything going off, blown plaster, heavy crack repairs, damp issues, incorrectly primed last time around.

But experience paid off in the end.

All walls correctly prepped and finished in a wipeable off white colour👌

Ceilings done in a flat matt 👌

All woodwork primed and finished in a modern water based satin. No more yellowing oil based gloss 🤩

Overboard and skim old lath and plaster ceiling. Filled, sanded, prepped and stabilised the walls ready for wallpapering.
