Cooper Classic Metalware Professionally handcrafted Metalware products including - wood burners, chimineas, fire pits and BBQ’s made from old unwanted gas bottles.

The gas bottles are safely decommissioned with all the old paint and unwanted parts removed, then turned into the eye catching classic designs which can be seen in the photos on my page. All the burners and BBQ’s are designed and Handcrafted at my workshop in Nottingham by me, Paul Cooper a Time served Welder Fabricator with over 25 years experience in metalworking. rd to get rid of, most scrap merchants and recycling plants will NOT take them as they can’t be crushed because they are pressurised and still have remnants of gas inside, even though they seem empty. So they end up being illegally dumped or sat in people’s gardens or sheds for years. So trying to make a living from turning them into something that looks great and has a practical use gives me great satisfaction and all the unused parts including brass, aluminium, plastic and steel can then be safely recycled.
