Our clients wanted to improve access to their driveway and weren’t sure where to start with the council requirements for a dropped kerb. So, they came to us for help with their application.

We’re delighted to have secured approval, with the decision issued just two days after the application was submitted! 🙌

We’re excited to share that planning has been secured for this garage conversion and extension in Brentwood!🎉

The garage will be joined to the existing house to create a spacious kitchen and dining area, giving the family a larger space to cook, eat, relax and spend time together.

Moving the kitchen into the new extension means the old kitchen can be used for extra living space.

The project also includes a repositioned front entrance and changes to the windows, helping the new layout work better while giving the front of the house a whole new look.

We love looking back at our projects and seeing how much a property has changed.

Our clients wanted a home that gave them more space to enjoy together, with extra room for everyday life, a comfortable master suite, and versatile spaces where they could relax or entertain guests.

We did this by adding a two-storey side extension, rear extension and garage conversion, creating the perfect home for our clients in the countryside.

🎙️ We were on BBC Radio Essex talking about overheating homes!

Earlier this week, our Senior Architect, Dandi Passerini, joined BBC Radio Essex to discuss how house design needs to adapt to climate change - from better ventilation and insulation to shading, glazing and renewable energy.

Dandi also shared some simple ways we can help keep existing homes cooler, including ventilating when the outside air is cooler and keeping direct sunlight off windows.

With the Future Homes Standard coming into force in March 2027, designing homes that are comfortable, energy efficient and better prepared for future temperatures is becoming increasingly important.
