One of our regular interior designer clients commissioned us to make an engineered reclaimed Oak floor in a chevron format. Going to be used in a boutique hotel project, the brief was it has to be super rustic and look very authentic and natural.

We developed this bespoke sample using our reclaimed Oak boards which are full of natural variation, aged markings and original character. Approved in the yard today and now ready to move into production.

Made from certified European Oak and hand-finished in our Lancashire workshop, each board is carefully hand-sanded and brushed to create a gently undulating, textured surface with subtle saw marks, matching the surface detail of our Manor House Oak flooring.

Annual harvest time dog on a round bale picture. Our Malinois has certainly nailed the staring off into the distance catalog style in the first shot. Not sure what he’s thinking in the 2nd picture, just normal full on go mode.

De-nailing is always a big part of the job when working with reclaimed timber. If we miss a nail we wreck a blade so we use metal detectors to scan the timber. All the split ends are cut off and the boards are then ready for processing in the saw mill.
