With its gently undulating surface, subtle bandsaw marks and natural character, our Manor House Oak takes inspiration from the traditional Oak floors found in country houses and period properties.

The result is a floor with an understated, aged appearance that feels equally at home in a traditional country house or a contemporary interior.

Crafted from character grade French Oak and hand made and finished in our Lancashire workshop. Available with a choice of colours, widths and finishes.

Decades of history, preserved in the surface.

Our reclaimed Norton Factory boards are original antique timber, with a patina that has developed naturally over years of use.

Restoring reclaimed timber like this takes skill, patience and experience. The aim is to preserve as much of the original surface as possible — the aged tones, old saw marks and subtle traces of its previous life.

The result is a floor that retains the originality and character of the timber, and the history that comes with it.

Our Barnwood Whitewashed cladding used throughout this beautiful coastal property.

The pale, weathered boards create a calm, relaxed coastal feel, with a soft whitewashed finish that allows the original grain, saw marks and natural tones of the reclaimed timber to remain visible. Used across both walls and ceilings, the variation between each board gives the interior real character and interest.

Stumbled across this on a visit to France. Original Parquet de Versailles, approx 300 years old and still standing. Looking stunning in its true home, a beautifully restored French Chateaux. Now operating as a hotel, this has survived all the wars and soldiers boots that’s been thrown at it and it’s as perfect as the day it was fitted. A testament to the craftsmen who made it. And a testament to wooden floors. No modern machinery. Just pure skill.

One of our regular interior designer clients commissioned us to make an engineered reclaimed Oak floor in a chevron format. Going to be used in a boutique hotel project, the brief was it has to be super rustic and look very authentic and natural.

We developed this bespoke sample using our reclaimed Oak boards which are full of natural variation, aged markings and original character. Approved in the yard today and now ready to move into production.
