I don't normally share my personal life on here, but I feel this needs sharing. This may be a long post!
My name is Rosey and my husbands called Pete. I am very crafty and put my all into it, and Pete does all the heavy lifting and helps set up at events, he also helps chitchat with customers 😊
We got married on Friday 29th May 2026 at Dimple Well Lodge Hotel and I have to say the venue was stunning! We were lucky to be able to use the secret garden, and the rest of the grounds were perfect for our celebration. We didn't have a lot of guests so we got a intimate 40.
The staff worked hard to keep things running smoothly throughout the whole day! I gave them challenges with decor etc and they delivered on everything!.. I will share some pictures below as we have had a lot of compliments about the decor we did. We had a lot of team work going on with multiple businesses to pull everything off, including my own business Pinky's Potions that did the center pieces, the signs etc.
The logs and boxes from Dimple Well them selves (They have a lot of decor to choose from of their own that you can use)
The greenary was from Down To Earth Florist which also did all our flowers 😍 We went for artifical flowers so we could keep them for memories but she also makes lovely fresh options. Our greenery on the table was fresh, which gave an amazing smell and added the cherry on the top for the theme we were going for!
During the ceremony we had a beautiful singer called Ellie Mitchell I will link her Instagram at the end of the post, she was stunning and her voice is heavenly! She sang me down the aisle and back up the aisle! We picked two special songs that was meaningful to us and our nan! Elvis and Coldplay 👌
The cake was down to Partycakes bespoke wedding & celebration cakes, although I can't eat a lot of cake, I did have some and the taste was outstanding!! We chose the Dreamy Chocolate for the top and Lemon/Blueberry for the bottom. Best combo as it works for kids and the adults 😋 I had compliments on the taste of the cake afterwards and people asking if there were any left 😆 That is a really good sign of a good tasting cake! 🎂
My dress was from Chiffon Rose Bridal Boutique it was so unique, fit my style, and was just me from bottom to top! She worked really hard, polite and caring throughout the whole experience. I showed her the wedding dress at Dimple Wells wedding fayre that I found on facebook and it happened to be her dress that she was selling. (It was meant to be) When I went to try it on, you could see that was the one! 😍
The suits for the lads came from Suit One Suit All Pete styling the green, with a floral card pocket from Down To Earth Florist. The dads matching him with a green waist coat but also matching the rest of the lads with the blue suits, wearing a Carnation button hole from Down To Earth Florist. Finally the lads rocking the full blue suits and they had a male rose button hile from Down To Earth Florist. All the ties were from Suit One Suit All 👌 They look top notch I must say ! 😁
Our photographer! SKL Photography wow everyone including me and Pete loved them! Entertaining, keeping everyone on their toes, laughing, joking around making the day delightful and fun! The pictures are stunning too and drone footage?!?! Yes! We got drone footage 😍 I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. The ones we have seen already have just blown us away.
We also had a nice little surprise in the evening for everyone, we had the photo booth from Twilight & Sparkle Events it went down very well. Everyone enjoyed themselves with funny poses and silliness 😆 Even the Dimple Well staff had a go, yes I got all those pictures too 🤣 Absolutely brilliant 👏
