🏡✨ NOW THAT’S A WELCOME HOME! ✨🏡

What happens when your porch has lost its sparkle? You give it a little OWD magic! 😍

Swipe through this before and after—the difference speaks for itself!

The old entrance had weathered timber, peeling paint and a door that had seen better days. Now, a striking black door, smart matching frames, clear glazing and fresh white detailing have completely lifted the look, while keeping that lovely traditional porch shape. 🖤🤍

And a porch is more than a first impression! It’s a handy space for muddy boots, coats and dog leads, somewhere to put the shopping while you find your keys, and a sheltered pause before stepping inside. 👢🧥🐾

Making the most of the space you already have can make such a difference—both to how your home looks and how you use it!

Ready to give your entrance the welcome it deserves? 📩 Message OWD Home Improvements and let’s talk!

🤩 NOW THAT’S A CONSERVATORY AND DINING-ROOM MAKEOVER! 🤩

From an old, tired polycarbonate roof to a bright, modern living space the homeowners can enjoy all year round — what an incredible transformation! 🏡✨

We’ve completely upgraded this home with:

✅ A brand-new insulated flat conservatory roof
✅ Two large flat rooflights with energy-performance glass
✅ Two additional rooflights installed over the dining area
✅ Far more natural daylight throughout both rooms
✅ Stylish LED lighting built into the rooflight reveals
✅ Modern recessed ceiling spotlights
✅ New external perimeter lighting
✅ Fully plastered walls and ceilings
✅ A clean, contemporary finish throughout

The additional rooflights have transformed the dining area, bringing natural light deeper into the home, while the energy-performance glass helps reduce unwanted heat and improve year-round comfort.

The result is a warmer, quieter and brighter living space that feels like a proper part of the home — while maintaining that wonderful connection to the garden.

Cool in summer. Warm in winter. Quiet in the rain.

Is your conservatory too hot, too cold, too dark or simply looking tired? Let OWD transform it into a room you’ll love using every day.

🪟 HERITAGE CHARACTER, MODERN PERFORMANCE — WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! 🪟

From tired original wooden sash windows to beautifully detailed uPVC sliding sash windows — this before-and-after proves you can preserve a property’s period charm without compromising on modern comfort and performance. 😍

We even found a piece of wood dated 1944 when the old sash weights were updated — a lovely glimpse into the history of the property.

✅ Traditional sash appearance
✅ Warmer and more energy-efficient
✅ Smooth, easy operation
✅ Improved security
✅ No sanding or painting
✅ Low-maintenance and built to last

The original-style proportions and glazing bars keep the period charm intact, while the new windows make the home warmer, quieter and more secure.

Thinking of upgrading your old sash windows? Let OWD give your property the best of both worlds.
