I spent a few happy hours in the shop of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craft in Cheltenham today, after delivering some new ceramics. It really is a treasure trove of quality work, and it’s all in their online shop too - link in Gloucestershire Guild bio.

Crazy hot in the studio today, but there are some upsides - this little lot of porcelain was thrown late this morning, dried in a lunch break, and turned this afternoon.

That’s a wrap on Potfest Compton Verney for another year. The sun shone, the lake and the trees were spectacular, and so many people came to look at the work of an amazing gathering of makers. Thanks for all the chats, purchases and support, from the visitors, from Matt and his unflappable team and from my lovely fellow potters. It’s a highlight of my ceramics year.

We are about to open here at Potfest Compton Verney. The sun is glinting off the lake on a stunningly beautiful summer morning. We’re open today till Sunday, 10-4.30, Compton Verney is about 45 mins from Oxford just off the M40. Over 100 potters are here exhibiting their best work. It’s quite an event, come if you can and bring a picnic! Compton Verney

What a heavenly day. We have sunshine, birdsong, and four artists showing their work here at . Painters and , jeweller and my ceramics. Come and say hello, we’re in the heart of Summertown, Oxford, site 404, with over 40 other artists within strolling distance. Open 11-6 every day till Monday.

My first time at Ceramic Art London and I loved every minute of it, the energy, the engaged and interesting visitors, the customers (!), the amazing team run by Suzie and , and my lovely neighbours and .ceramics who were just brilliant. A huge thank you to all of you. Exhausted now, but gearing up for Open Studios that starts this Saturday and runs till the 25th, in Oxford.
