*Shop Updates - please read*
First of all, apologies for the radio silence recently. The Easter holidays hit and my body found itself in need of a break from putty making. Health issues are making it harder for me to make as much putty as I used to, and I'm finding it's vital to listen to my body or I end up out of action for a while.
I haven't forgotten the last members' choice putty poll, and that putty is scheduled for the next release, along with some other gorgeous scents. However, I can't confirm when that will be as yet - I'm *hoping* for the end of next week, but this week is looking hectic with other commitments (and an exciting trip to Wembley to watch the Lionesses tomorrow!) so I will have to see how I go with that. As soon as I have a confirmed release date, I'll let you know.
Next, onto some regretful news - price changes. Not anyone's favourite topic, I know, least of all mine!
Royal Mail has brought in some hefty price increases this April, and having swallowed the cost of several other price hikes since the shop started, I've had to update my delivery charges in line with the new rates. Please note I never profit from delivery charges; what I pass on to you is the literal cost to me from the postage label and the fees Etsy charges on top (yes, they even take a cut from postage prices!). Tracked postage is also essential to allow me to provide a consistent, speedy service, and that of course costs more than the economy, basic services.
And even more regretfully, I'm having to contemplate putty price increases sometime soon. Since I started the shop almost three years ago, prices of my base materials have all gone up but I've never increased the price you pay per pack, and have also offered discount codes for regular use. This is no longer sustainable and I'm going to have to start charging a little more. I'm still doing the maths on it to work out the sweet spot between continuing to give you good value and keeping the shop viable; please rest assured I will keep any increases as low as I possibly can, and will give you notice before actually implementing any changes.
