Our interests do not solely in supplying art and craft materials. At Broad Canvas we are very keen to support our customers and local Oxford Artists. On the first floor of the shop we have The Little Gallery. In the Little Gallery we hold regular exhibitions showcasing the work of budding artists and professional artists and craftspeople. We invite local art groups such as the Oxford Printmakers, Abingdon Art Group, Oxford Art Society, the East Oxford Drawing Collective and our members of staff to put on exhibitions with a view to sell their work and help raise awareness of their skills and talent. We also have the Broad Canvas Window Gallery which shows off one piece of work for one week at a time. As this gallery faces onto Broad Street, in the centre of Oxford, the work is seen by many people and is an exciting addition to the shop.
