Small business love 🫶🏼 Note & Thread

Many of my followers know that I sadly lost my mum to cancer in November last year. It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. Trying to navigate my own grief at 36 years old while helping my 3-year-old daughter understand where her Nanny has gone has been absolutely heartbreaking.

I wanted something special to remind me of my mum. Of course, I have photographs and precious memories, but I wanted something that would bring me comfort and remind me of the little things she would say to me when I’m missing her most.

When I came across Note & Thread page, I instantly thought what a beautiful idea it was. I began looking through old birthday cards and treasured keepsakes to find a piece of my mum’s handwriting.

She has created this beautiful keepsake for me, preserving a part of my mum that I can hold onto forever. It’s something I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Small businesses like ours mean more than people realise. I started my own business when my mum’s cancer became worse. She loved seeing my wreaths and always encouraged me to keep going. Thanks to her support, I carried on, and here we are today.

So this is a little appreciation post for a truly special business.
