Now I’m back from a lovely week away with family, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the future of the shop and what the next few months may look like.
As many of you know, running a small business isn’t always easy, and the last couple of months have definitely been tough. With my lease coming up later this year, I’ll be taking some time to decide whether the shop continues or whether this little chapter comes to an end.
It’s not a decision I’ll make lightly. Yes, I could continue working from home, but having a separate space where work stays at work and home stays home has always meant a lot to me.
At the same time, I’m also very aware that this will be my last baby, and I know how quickly these moments pass. One thing I don’t want is to look back and wish I’d slowed down a little more.
For now though, the shop is still here for all your Baby Keepsake needs, and every order, booking, share and recommendation genuinely means the world to me. I honestly never imagined I’d make it this far when I first started, and it’s crazy to think that in five months time the shop will have been open for 2 years.
