Rosie Ellis Unwin typically produces large scale artworks, focused on the female form. Each woman she depicts is undefined- unbound by earthly structures or a preconceived role, and floats in a free flowing space, which gives a sense of liberation and freedom. Influenced by both historical art figures and many of today’s contemporary artists, Rosie’s vibrant and luminous artworks are constantly evolving and inspired by a varied use of materials and craft based skills. With a diverse creative career, from Set Dressing and Prop Making for the film industry, creating luxury novelty cakes, to gilding high-end designer lighting pieces, Rosie is now settled in Berkshire and spends the majority of her time painting and gilding
