Sometimes it’s the little details that make all the difference.
A hand-drawn jester mid dance.
The join on an oak mirror, carefully finished by hand. Words pressed into clay, a painted poppy head, a curlew drawn onto glass, tiny stitches, brass buttons, linen ribbon, pressed flowers and glazes that look like landscapes.
Every piece you’ll find in Shop for the Senses started with someone caring enough to think about those details.
They’ve been drawn, painted, stitched, glazed, printed, joined and finished by people who are passionate about what they make, with so much of it designed and created here in Cumbria.
That’s one of the things we love most about the shop. When you look a little closer, you can see the thought, time and care that has gone into every piece.
It’s the details that make them worth looking at twice.
