Funky headboards from earlier this year! I always love a project that's a little bit different, and the shape of these headboards were super fun to do!
Couldn't have been done without Ryan Blackburn Joinery who made the headboard frames! And always great working with Joanna Cox Interiors who comes up with the funky ideas!

I've been having a look through my photos that I've yet to upload. There's so many, and I don't know why I haven't shared them! This room was a favourite of mine from a large project, it has such a cosy and inviting feel. Nothing beats velvet for that sumptuous look, even though its murder on the fingers for sewing!!

Some lovely full pleats from recently. I've worked with this embroidered fabric by Warwick Fabrics UK before and it drapes beautifully, with the added squish of the interlining it makes for some luxury pleats!

I showed close ups of these a while back, but never them finished and in situ! So here they are!
There's so many details to this scheme I love, the combination of pink and green will always be a favourite of mine, and the fabric by Nina Campbell has the perfect brightness of the two colours to pop against the greens of the wallpaper. The gold poles by The Bradley Collection add warmth and a framing effect which compliment the pink and green perfectly.

A little sneak peak to a recent fitting. 😍 Originally these curtains were going to have a raspberry red trim down the leading edges only, but seemingly wanting to make things more complicated I suggested we add it along the very top too! So pleased with the results! 🤩 Photos in situ to follow!

Couldn't be happier with how this huge window seat has turned out. Over 2m wide by 1m depth, and lots of corners to contend with!
Window box seats are a firm favourite of mine, very satisfying to make and to see them in place. 🤩
The delicate print fabric from behaved beautifully!

Last one of the Apex..possibly. Here's one to show the scale of the window, using myself as the scale, and I'm by no means short!
With such an expanse of window, this room becomes very warm with the sun, these sheers will not only help to keep the room at a comfortable temperature through the summer months but also help with the acoustics of the room.
My lovely client wanted a flowy finish to the curtains, so we decided on the pooling length which adds to the relaxed look. 😍

This Apex has been in the pipeline for a while, alot of planning has gone into the installation and fit of these gorgeous flowy sheer curtains and I'm so pleased with the finished result. 😍
The biggest challenge was working out how we were going to have the curtains held back, at nearly 4.5m at its highest point and nearly 3m at its lowest point, this window is huge, and holding the curtains back was always going to be tricky.
We finalised on these super smart holdbacks from which have worked wonderfully. A small step is needed to reach these, but totally worth the beautiful finish and to allow for maximum window exposure.
All this couldn't have been done without who has made the fitting of these possible and has been a huge help in the process. Thank you!

A little blind made using a lovely embroidered linen from
Linen, embroidered honeysuckles, sage green woodwork... it's all the perfect recipie for a cosy country cottage feel.
