Day 5 and I’ve got two new Christmas card ideas for this year nearly finished and ready to be sent off to print.

Yup, I’m still here at , happily working away in my temporary studio — pop in and say hello if you fancy experiencing a little bit of “Kerri Christmas” madness 😂🎅🏻

Back to the Bield at Blackruthven today.

Got my coffee, just in need of some cake...
So, if you’re passing by, why not pop in and visit this fabulous exhibition? There’s so much beautiful artwork on display from many of the talented artists taking part in this year’s Perthshire Open Studios.

ASMR post. Yeh I'm late to the party but all the cool kids were doing it so here we are 🤣 (don't worry I will NOT be doing any finger tapping nonsense).
Anyway, wee reel of me yesterday at my temporary studio at The Bield working on one of my "peeking cats" pictures. I really need to get some sharper scissors 😂

If you would like to hear me working away in real life come for a visit. Not in today but otherwise here every day except Mondays until 13th September.

Day 1 of the Perthshire Open Studios Showcase and I'm delighted these little guys went off to a new home 🥰

Thanks to everyone who came by for a visit and to see all the stunning work by local artists. I enjoyed all the chats but did manage to get some work done too!
Huge thank you especially to Ross and Louise from .com who popped in and dropped off some prints for me.

Perthshire Open Studios Preview Show
Bield at Blackruthven, Perth, PH1 1PY
Saturday 29th August – Sunday 13th September Open daily, 10am–5pm

The exhibition is looking fabulous, with so much wonderful artwork from talented artists across Perthshire to admire — and, of course, buy.

Jo, Diana and I will be there most days, as the Bield is also doubling up as our temporary studio space. So come along, have a blether, and see us doing our thang! 😆

There’ll also be other Perthshire Open Studios artists popping in on various days to man the sales desk, so there will always be someone around to welcome you and have a chat.
And while you’re there, don’t forget to pick up a Perthshire Open Studios brochure. You can have a look through all the participating artists and studios and plan your visits for the Open Studios fortnight.

Whispers in the Glen

Finished, framed and ready to head up to the Bield for the Perthshire Open Studios preview show ✨

I’m always banging on about how difficult it is to photograph my textile art (possibly a me problem 🤔🤣), but it really is one of those things that needs to be seen in real life to appreciate all the texture and detail. So, if you’re able to visit the exhibition, please do — I’d love you to see it in person.

My lovely pal Diana King Jewellery Workshop has very helpfully printed out my timetable, so you can see exactly when I’ll be there.

Diana and Jo Jo Perkins will be there too. Have a look at their pages for more details of when they’ll be there and to see some of the beautiful pieces they’ll be bringing along.
