For our Director, Kate MacKenzie, that story began with her grandfather, Philip Arthur Angell, and the armchair where they spent countless hours together. It became a symbol of comfort, conversation and treasured memories that stayed with her throughout her life.

Years later, Kate lovingly restored that same chair, before reimagining it into what is now The Philip Arthur Chair.
