House of Blooms Luxury wedding and event florals in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas I'm Michaella, I'm an independent florist, specialising in weddings and events.

I offer the full range of wedding flowers, from bridal party bouquets and buttonholes, to large ceremony and reception arrangements. I work closely with each couple, to create unique designs that reflect your style and personality and that everyone will be talking about! I start with a free consultation (a cuppa and a chat!)

Yesterday’s wedding featuring some beautiful flowers for an amazing couple! So happy to be involved in this amazing day!

The end of summer/into autumn colour palette included shades of peach, orange and green.
Roses, Dahlia, stocks and foxtail lilies, paired with trailing amaranthus and lots of other foliage for texture.
Luckily, the rain stayed away for an outdoor ceremony.

Absolutely stunning flowers in the studio this week for my lovely couples’ wedding!

Eremurus (foxtail lily) for creating good height in arrangements
Amaranthus ‘cyclops’ - very on trend, trailing lime green. Perfect for drama!
Fountain grass - a burst of something a bit different, for texture
Asparagus fern, great for trailing foliage and a feathery texture
Spray rose ‘Sahara’ gorgeous multi toned, peachy/sandy with lots of heads.
Dahlia ‘Cornell bronze’ a gorgeous darker orange/rust colour, with so many perfect petals
Lisianthus apricot - really fluffy and romantic
Stocks, apricot - beautifully scented
Rose ‘Kahala’ darker peach on the outside and lighter on the inside, lots of swirly petals

Sorry not sorry…. Christmas workshop dates are now live on our website!!!

This year has whizzed by and we’ve been asked when our dates are out, so here they are!!

Really excited to host again this year, it’s always so much fun!

Come and join us for a great evening, getting creative (and a little bit messy!) and learn how to make your own wreath that can take pride of place on your front door!!

3 things to know when booking your wedding florist

🌿 Flowers can be expensive! It’s tempting to go for the lowest price quoted to you.
Remember: a good florist is not cheap and a cheap florist is not good!
There are many factors influencing how much a florist charges, including overheads.
Supermarket flowers may be cheap as the supermarkets can afford to buy flowers as a loss leader. We buy flowers from trusted growers and suppliers meaning they are the best quality and freshness available for your big day.
Your flowers are featuring in all of your wedding photos, so investing in them is always a good idea.

🌿 Flowers are seasonal. If you’d like a specific flower, let us know. Something you think you can’t do without may not be available when you’re getting married. We can talk to you about alternatives, for instance; substituting peonies for ruffly garden roses.

🌿 Flowers are a natural product, meaning the colour of each flower is not exactly the same - even in the same bunch! Flowers you see online have most likely been filtered, some generated by AI and therefore not a true representation of their colour. It is much better to have a range of shade variations in a particular colour hue, rather than try to replicate an exact colour.
