A successful lighting restoration often involves several specialists: the restorer, decorator, lighting designer and electrical contractor. The Candle Tube specification needs to provide a clear reference point for each of them.
Before manufacture, confirm the agreed profile, material, finish, dimensions and fitting reference. It is also useful to establish which details belong to the Candle Tube and which relate to the surrounding lampholder, bracket or arm. This helps each specialist work from the same information without altering the historic fixture unnecessarily.
At Candle Tubes UK, we manufacture bespoke, made-to-order components in Northamptonshire for restoration and new lighting projects. Card, Metal, Glass, Quartz Glass and Nylon options are available, with Plain, Dripped and Waxed finishes.
Where the original component needs detailed assessment, it can be submitted for our digital measurement service.
E10/E14 Candle components are not UL listed and brackets are earthed.
