Hello!

There have been a few new faces around here lately, so thought I would reintroduce myself! 👋

I’m Cathy and I’ve been the owner of Oakapple Trading since February 2025. Some of you may recognise me from my other businesses here in Petworth, Maggie & Belle and Petworth Pop Up Shop & Boutique. These days you’ll often find me on the first floor of Oakapple in my lampshade studio, where I offer a bespoke, handmade lampshade making service.

Oakapple has been part of Petworth for around 30 years, and I feel incredibly proud to continue its legacy. My aim is to continue its carefully curated collection that blends timeless English country style with a fresh, modern feel.

It’s been a busy summer of juggling businesses, family and the joys of the school holidays, but with the summer holidays coming to an end soon and normal routines returning I’m looking forward to being back on here a little more and sharing more of what’s happening at Oakapple. 💙

⭐️ NEW IN ⭐️

I absolutely adore this reclaimed wood chest of drawers with matching bedsides from our Reloved Range of furniture. I actually took these photos at the weekend and it has been SO busy I’ve only just got round to posting them now!

I’m one week into Summer Holidays already and the balance of working and parenting is in full swing, thank goodness for my amazing team for looking after the shop while I enjoyed a few days away with my small person.

Back to it today and Cassie and I have had a reshuffle in the shop and moved stock around getting ready for new products arriving soon.

Don’t forget we are open 7 days a week throughout the year so do pop in. ☺️

Gorgeous Green 💚

Absolutely loving this chest of drawers in its new spot.

It’s been a busy day moving half the shop around as the lower ground floor had a new carpet installed and so the room was completely cleared and then all put back together.

There has been a huge layout change and can’t I wait to show you moreover the next week, there are more deliveries incoming and a very exciting move next week upstairs!

It’s FRI-YAY, the start of a new month AND it’s a bank holiday weekend! ☀️ Hooray!

Our bistro sets are back in stock and have already been so popular. We’ve had so much delivered over the last 2 weeks including gorgeous new products from and lots of wonderful new accessories for your home and garden.

The shop has been having a bit of work done as there is a big change happening over the next week and an exciting new addition…… more details to be revealed soon! 😉

We are open over the bank holiday weekend and look forward to seeing you
