We recently visited the remarkable solo exhibition by Marc Fish, winner of last year’s Sussex Craft Awards, now on display at Newlands House Gallery in Petworth. His extraordinary sculptural furniture blurs the line between art, design and craftsmanship, with flowing organic forms inspired by the rhythms of the natural world.

As lovers of beautifully crafted interiors, we’re constantly seeking inspiration, and Marc’s work is a wonderful reminder of how furniture can become sculpture, combining technical mastery with timeless design.

Running until 6 September, this free exhibition is a rare opportunity to experience the work of one of Britain’s most celebrated contemporary makers.

And while you’re there, don’t miss Paula Rego: Visions of English Literature, a powerful exhibition exploring one of Britain’s greatest artists through her unforgettable interpretations of classic stories.
