It would be interesting to know- what do you takeaway from this carousel?

Well, I think she likes me. 😂

As head of social media & content creating (self assigned), I love capturing these candid videos of Carla. Mainly because the way she looks at me in them had me howling. She’s one eye roll away from questioning why she ever went into business with me. 😂

Usually, our days are spent in front of our laptops, jumping between various platforms. But yesterday, we spent 3 hours 😳 at Howdens and then headed over to see Danny at .

We’re currently working on a few HMO professional-let apartments in a new block in Plymouth, and we’ve reached the really exciting bit - choosing all the things that make a space feel designed: colours, worktops, handles and all those little details. 😍

So… what colours do you think we went for?

Think neutral bedrooms are boring? Think again. 🤎

We’re big believers that a neutral scheme doesn’t have to mean beige-on-beige-on-beige with absolutely nothing going on.

The trick is in the layers.

✨ Plenty of texture
✨ A little contrast
✨ Carefully chosen pattern
✨ Oversized pieces that create impact
✨ Warm, natural materials

It’s less about adding more and more about choosing the right things.

For this bedroom, the warm timber, tactile fabrics, earthy tones and punchy black details keep the scheme calm and understated, while the oversized artwork and lighting add just enough drama.

The result? A bedroom that feels relaxed, grown-up and considered, without trying too hard.

And honestly, don’t we all want that?

Save this for your next bedroom project 🤎

Looking back through the archives, we stumbled across this bedroom we designed years ago. We didn’t have much of a brief, just to be sympathetic to the architecture (Vessel Architects). The barn was to be used as an airbnb, so we needed enough storage, low maintenance and of course, for it to look amazing!

I think this is one of our favourite bedrooms we’ve designed.

What do you think?

And here you have it- TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY!

Love a good before and after- don’t you?

18/09/2026

You wouldn’t believe the trouble we had on this project!

Contractors not liaising with us
Delays with engineered wood flooring
Ridiculously long lead times
We weren’t actually project managing it so had limited control

But the clients were super chilled and absolutely loved how it turned out so it was all good!

What’s your favourite room?

Do you ever feel like you’re playing catch up?!

With this project, the contractors were working faster than we could keep up! Our WhatsApp group was pinging every 5mins. It felt like we were treading water a lot of the time, but there’s nothing more ferocious than a woman with a deadline!

What do you think of the finished home interiors?

16/09/2026

We were expecting the client to want modern interiors, as that’s their bag, but what we also needed to do it transition the old farm house into the new build extension. Marrying two very different styles was tricky!

We pulled the base colour palette from hallway in the old farm house, some of the jute textures and the original stone flooring, and mixed it with modern oak panels and built in furniture and a sprinkling of the accent colours from the new lounge…

Pretty happy with how it turned out- and most importantly, so are our clients!
