Hard water can leave scale deposits on pool surfaces, equipment and slatted covers. BAYROL Calcinex is a concentrated liquid treatment that helps prevent calcium and metal deposits before they form, making it especially useful after filling, topping up, or in hard-water areas. Prevent scale now to avoid scrubbing later.

Why is my heat pump freezing? ❄️

Noticed frost or ice on your heat pump as temperatures drop? In many cases, it's completely normal.

Air-source heat pumps can develop frost in cooler weather, especially at the start and end of the swimming season. They're designed with built-in defrost cycles to manage these conditions and maintain reliable performance.

✅ Ensure good airflow around the unit
✅ Keep the area clear of vegetation and obstructions
✅ Allow adequate spacing between multiple units

If ice build-up persists, it may be worth investigating further.

Learn why heat pumps freeze, when it's normal, and when it's time to act here:

❄️ Winter pool shutdown starts with a deep clean.

Before covering your pool for winter, treat the water with BAYROL Chloryte. Its powerful chlorine formula helps eliminate bacteria, organic contaminants and algae spores, leaving the water cleaner before winterising.

By starting with properly treated water, you'll help reduce problems over the colder months and make spring opening that much easier.

✅ Powerful shock treatment
✅ Helps prevent winter water issues
✅ Ideal before adding your winterising product

A little preparation now can save a lot of work later.
