We are a small cut flower farm based at Brynglas Farm just outside Pontardawe South Wales.

We grow beautiful seasonal cut flowers for florists and the public, providing bouquets and running workshops.

One of my absolute favourite cut flowers for drying. Strawflowers! They come in a fab range of colours and hold their colours longer than any other flower I grow for drying. I also love that once you pick them they co to use to open as they dry. I’ve even had some get damp accidentally after deying them and they closed back up again! Nature is so clever. I always pick the heads off and wire them to dry as it gives me lots of scope to use them in bouquets, buttonholes or wreaths.

What a privilege to be a part of .in.wales 🥰 so many incredible artists, florists and flower growers all showcasing the amazing talent a skills we have right here on our doorstep in Wales.
It’s not often I get the opportunity to get fully creative just for me with my flowers so I grabbed the chance with both hands. I’ve put together some little snippets of how it came together though I didn’t capture as much as I would have liked as life has been so busy lately. This came together is very small pockets of time in between my life and keeping the flower farm ticking over.
My amazing mum came along to help with the install as did Gwyn. The little sneak peak I got when installing my piece was such a treat and it’s well worth popping in for a look if you are in the area.

What a week! It’s been a really busy one trying to get ahead before we are away for a few days next week. Lots of gorgeous flower picked. Some for delivery, some for collection, some for drying and lots for Uplands Market. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came down to support us there.
I have big plans for next years market flowers which are currently filling the greenhouse. There is a lot of pricking out and planting out to do. We have all been enjoying the cooler dry weather especially the dogs. Gwyns been “helping” my dad do some maintenance to the machinery we have on the farm to. It’s been all go go go!

It's always lovely to look back at previous weddings and I don't think I have shared these videos before. A match made in heaven with deep jewel tones ranging from burgundy to fuschia with hessian accents. Working with Llio to bring her vision to life was such a joy. She had been collecting beautiful bottles that had meaning to her an her fiance for the tables which I then filled with blooms for the tables. A family mamber built the lovely wooden arch for them as well! A wedding is all about you as a couple and I love it when couples really take ownership of a weddings vibe and make it their own. These small unique touches are what I always try to help highlight and encourage. These are what you and your guests will remember long after the day is over.

It was touch and go but I will be at Uplands Market this weekend! The flowers in the tunnel have picked back up and a few things outside have started to recover from the drought. My fresh flowers will be really limited so if you want to make sure you get your hands on some then you can preorder by dropping me a DM or you might need to come early! I will have a lot bigger range than usual of my dried flowers with me including straight bunches of statice as well as dried bouquets and wreaths. I'm really looking forward to being back. I have missed chatting to you all. Depending on the frost 🫣 it might be our last one this year. If we get lucky I might see you in october to.

Been a busy week with sunshine, rain, compost and flowers. The autumn winter maintenance jobs have begun with more beds being rebuilt. Lots of things are getting a haircut like the Applemint. Lots of bouquets went out this week! The zinnias in the tunnel have saved the day looking stunning while the dahlias recover from the drought.

Last weekend I attended a fab wedding fayre with my mum and Gwyn and ww were blown away at how popular our dried flowers were.
I’ve always loved dried flowers and am so excited to see them becoming a bigger and bigger part of my business.

This was a beautiful elopement wedding I created a week or so ago.
