This weekend are ignoring the discounts and focusing on what makes handmade special and worth spending on. To help makers get the most from their sales, Plus sellers won't be charged any commission on orders through Folksy this weekend either! That means our sellers will be celebrating every sale that little bit extra 🎉

Sellers - tell us a little about what makes your items special. Share photos and videos to show the work that goes into making a piece, or the quality of your materials and craftsmanship that means your item will last years longer than some 50% off high street bargain. Share the face, the hands, the studio or kitchen worktop your creations come from. Share the inspiration behind your work, or the things that make your items different to what people will find everywhere else. Today marks 100 days to Christmas, and to celebrate are hosting a Christmas Craft Drop, launching lots of lovely new items suitable for the occasion, to help you get organised early. 

Not quite ready to be thinking about Christmas yet? Us neither! But it's not just Christmas things. There are also items that'd make great gifts for Christmas... or to treat yourself right now 😉

Next Tuesday, to celebrate 100 days until Christmas, will be hosting a Christmas Craft Drop 🎁
This will see lots of Folksy sellers come together to release their brand new items ready for the upcoming season.
If you're a Folksy seller and want to take part, you need a Plus account and to use the tag 'christmas craft drop' on your new items (you can find more details on ).

If you want to get your Christmas shopping out of the way early, you'll be able to see the new releases on the Folksy website from Tuesday 16th September. Our buyer newsletter will be getting a preview of what's available on Monday, so if you want first dibs, make sure you're subscribed!

And if you're not quite ready to think about Christmas just yet, don't worry. The Craft Drop won't just have Christmas specific items, so you may also find a unique gift for those autumn birthdays or even something to treat yourself.

If you're a seller who'll be taking part, let us know in the comments so we can keep an eye out for your new creations.
