Saturday is looking great for the Lighthouse Poole Big Christmas Appeal 2026 in conjunction with The Watersports Academy supported by Jo here at Ashley Blinds & Curtains - Dorset for their Brownsea Island Paddle.

donations have been coming in nicely but there is a bit to go yet! can you add to the target?

Share the Magic of Live Theatre

Give thousands of disadvantaged children, families, and those experiencing isolation and loneliness the gift of live theatre, music, and cinema.

Every year, the Big Christmas Appeal helps Lighthouse Poole to give away thousands of free and discounted tickets to those that need it the most including children, families, and other groups from the community who are experiencing hardship and disadvantage.

This can be a life-changing experience and can only happen with your support.

Gentle reminder!

It’s Saturday!!

Would anyone sponsor me/Ashley Blinds? Even a little?! 😇

I am supporting the Brownsea Island Paddle in aid of Lighthouse Poole with The Watersports Academy - Big Christmas Appeal. As one of our customers I wanted to give something back and support their charity event this Saturday (wanna join in too?!) it’s in aid of raising funds to pay for tickets for those that are -
• Families affected by cancer can share an unforgettable night out together.

• Young carers, who give so much of themselves every day, can take a break and simply be children again.

• Neurodivergent individuals can enjoy inclusive, relaxed performances designed with their needs in mind.

• Local children in care are invited to enjoy theatre and entertainment - often for the first time in their lives.

• Older people and their carers can get together, watch a show, and feel less isolated.

• Schools in low income areas can offer a trip to their students, enabling students to engage with and become inspired by performances and activities at Lighthouse.

Follow this linked in post because meta isn’t letting me share the just giving link! 🤦🏻‍♀️
