A very overdue update on the waistcoat. So both flowers are complete or are they?
I feel like I need to add more. So still work in progress! As you can tell I’m in no hurry to finish. In fact I’m quite enjoying taking my time being able to pick it up do a little stitching & put it down again.

My recent patch swap offering! Using up bits & bobs with a lot of slow stitching & a little bit of embroidery stitch of a sort!
Still working on the waistcoat previously shown between other things. Soon it will be finished 🤞😂

Took a little trip to Montisfont house yesterday! Beautiful! Steeped in history!
Had a really lovely day the house is lovely there was an art exhibition with some amazing art. The river is pristine & teeming with wildlife & the gardens are beautiful❤️

Ive just received this beautiful embroidered patch from

Took a little trip to Kimmeridge yesterday it was a tad chilly with a damp mist But.. had a lovely walk & while others were fossil hunting I was more interested in all the textures! Really beautiful ❤️

Sunday morning walk Sandbanks beach. 😎 Beautiful sky rippled sands & lovely clear sea 🌊🚤 picked up coffees on the way back & chill!
Maybe some sewing 🤔☺️😉

Actually stated this last year & only just got round to finishing! Typical me! 😂 Anyway it was originally a dress not unlike the last pic. Sorry pic got chopped. I did not take any photos throughout the transformation process but to recap….
The cut off hem became the sleeves. The braid was added to make bigger & a little Broderie Anglaise trim added to the hem. Both braid & trim were from my stash & dress was preloved.
