Our RNLI Minehead Water Safety Team had a fantastic opportunity to engage with the Porlock Gig Club today. We covered cold water shock, situational awareness, how to call for help, and the ‘Float to Live’ technique. We also ran practical throw line sessions and emphasised why life jackets are so crucial. Thank you to everyone at Porlock for participating, staying safe is a team effort! With more water activities happening as we approach sunny days it’s important to keep safe and look out for each other. 🌊🛶
