// FOR OUR QUEEN 🤍🕊️
This week has been one of the hardest our family has ever faced as we said goodbye to our wonderful Nana.
For anyone who knew me personally, you’ll know just how much she meant to me. She was the softest kind of love — the kettle always on, a biscuit tin never empty, and somehow always sending you home with something you definitely didn’t ask for 🤍
When I first started The Dancing Daffodil, I doubted myself so many times. But my Nan never did. Even before I believed in me, she believed in me. She was proud of every little milestone, every wedding, every crazy idea and every late night at TDD HQ.
Flowers feel a little different this week.
They’ve always been part of how we celebrate love, comfort heartbreak and honour people we never want to let go of. And although there’s sadness behind the scenes right now, there’s also so much gratitude for the love she gave us all.
One thing we never did agree on though… her favourite flower being a pink carnation 🌸😂
Sorry Nan, I still can’t support that decision.
Our opening hours may be slightly altered over the next week and messages may be a little slower than usual whilst we navigate such a difficult time as a family, so please bear with us 🤍
Thank you to every customer, couple, friend and supplier who has shown us kindness this week. The messages, flowers, hugs and patience have meant more than you know 🤍
