Crocheted Pom Pom tea cosies!
This was Dawns signature style and what she was known for creating.
She loved creating these simple cosies. They are made with an acrylic chunky yarn, so can be washed on a delicates cycle, but I would recommend just spot cleaning.
They will fit a large 4-6 cup pot, but they do have a little stretch in them, so if you have an extra large pot, I’m sure it will be fine.
She never liked her work to be stretched or messed about with, so she always created a loop and button for underneath the handle, which means you don’t need to stretch your cosy over the spout and handle.

These are £18 each, plus p&p
These are the only ones I’ve come across in the stock at the moment, so be quick to get yours, because I can’t guarantee that I’ll find any more.

Traditional Tea cosies.

A few months ago, Dawn was experimenting with some new cosies, different ones to what she would normally create.

These are the only ones I’ve found amongst the stock at the moment. There are 2 of the cream/autumn leaves print and 1 of the blue.

They measure: 12 inches x 9.5 inches
They are £12 each, plus p&p

It’s been so hard having to get my head around what’s happened this past week and having to write this…
Unfortunately my mum Dawn (who runs the shop day to day), has sadly passed away.
We were a mother and daughter team, doing what we loved…creating unique and beautiful products for others to get joy from too, whilst helping others to do the same.
Without much warning, she became gravely ill last Monday and unfortunately, due to a sudden illness that none of us were aware of, she deteriorated in hospital and sadly passed away on Friday.
I just want to say that on behalf of us both, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all the love and support you showed us and our other wonderful makers over the years.
I will still be creating, as it’s what she would have wanted and I will be selling her remaining stock, but it will be from our personal business page Whimsical World Gifts
I do have a website and am slowly trying to upload lots of cute products, so please keep your eyes peeled for that and be aware that the remaining stock of Dawns will literally be one off pieces…I unfortunately did not grasp crochet (despite her numerous times to try and teach me 😆), so I won’t be able to replicate any of them.
