Some Christmas themed tiles ready for the kiln , for the belly part I can't decide between a warm grey or a white crackle which I can ink to bring out the texture ? Might try both ! I'll post pics of the finished articles maybe tomorrow!

Another nice watercolour by Skye artist Sally Ross , difficult to see here but she's captured the iredescence of the mackerel skin very nicely. Frame is oak lightly waxed and backboard is a charcoal grey. All ready to hang.

I like this one ! So, the clock face is handmade from a tile with numbers and logo screen printed on by hand using acrylic ink . Frame and surround are oak and finished with a light wax . Clock mechanism is a German quartz movement. The wood will darken down to a rich golden colour over time. I'm taking commissions for these - PM me if you'd like one
