Making Spaces associate makers will be selling craft materials, craft tools, end of line stock, seconds and prototypes. Come along see the stash behind the maker and get quality makes at discount prices.

Wood & Daughters are very excited to be part of Making Space’s Make Merry winter craft fair this weekend!

Making Space

It’s open
21 Friday 4-7pm
22 Saturday & 23 Sunday 11am-4pm

Our work will be in the pop-up shop alongside lots of other fantastic makers!

There will be lots of fabulous crafts and makers , open studios to have a look round, a chance to enter a fantastic prize draw, festive refreshments and jolly music

A brilliant way to start your Christmas shopping!

B will be there all weekend, come and say hello!

One of our great aims as Wood & Daughters is to share creativity with as many people as possible, sharing our skills and our passions. We have been lucky enough for the past two years to teach at Making Space a craft charity in Leigh Park. Making Space

We’ve taught up-cycling fabric into a new items, making greeting cards, macrame, making felt mitts, printing with found objects, how to draw to design and we even had a whole month where we just taught around the theme of yellow.

Our next Craft Community workshops at Making Space are Doodle Notebooks and Painted Graphic Still Life.

Doodle Notebooks runs on
Wednesday 24 September 10-12noon
Thursday 25 September 7-9pm

Painted Graphic Still life runs on
Wednesday 29 October 10-12noon
Thursday 30 October 7-9pm

It costs £10 a session
The Wednesday and Thursday of each month are the same lesson so no need to book both

It’s been a while so we thought we would refresh your memories and reintroduce ourselves

We are Wood & Daughters, mother and daughter, Tanya and Bethany, sharing our enthusiasm and passion, bringing together life- long interests, making things we love with love for you and your lovely people. We do all this with affection, warmth and generosity, with hope from both our hearts that the joy rubs off.

We’ve been busy making lovely things, developing workshops, teaching lovely people and growing our art practice.

We look forward to sharing this all with you because that’s what it’s all about. Keep your eyes peeled!

We are very excited to again be showing our work at Making Space as a part of their Hampshire Open Studios weekend

A great opportunity to have a nosy round their 7 maker studios, visit the pop up shop filled with amazing local makers (including our goodies!).

Making Space is also launching their fundraising campaign Pots of Potential where you can help support the up keep of their community kilns by bidding in a silent auction filled with donated pots and booking on to their ceramic workshops.

It’s free entry on Saturday 16 August and Sunday 17th from 11-4pm

We are very excited to be part of Make Merry, Making Space’s winter craft fair next weekend!

There will be, as usual, lots of fabulous gifts and beautiful crafts. You can also visit the craft book shop new for this years Make Merry and enjoy festive refreshments.

We will be there all weekend with our stall, so come down and say hello

Wood & Daughters are excited to be part of Making Space’s Hampshire Open Studios this weekend.

You will find a selection of our work in the pop up shop and B will be hosting a drop in collage session.

You can also have a nosy round the resident makers studios, look at the Creative Futures exhibition and book onto taster workshops for Sunday.

It is free to enter, you only need to book if you are doing a taster session
