This lovely little chest of drawers was a proper rescue job.
It's old (not sure how old!), wobbly legs, rusty squeaky castors, rusty handles, broken runners, staining in the drawers...I could go on...
I am also old with wobbly legs, squeaky knees (occasional staining in my drawers ?🤔 ) So let's not judge
It needed some TLC but I wanted to keep the character.
I cleaned, sanded, filled and used my multi tool to shine up the handles and castors.
I used French Grey, a classic green with gentle shades of grey.
The restored handles and legs have been treated with Bunty’s copper guilding wax. The castors have been cleaned and oiled.
A beautifully classic set of drawers that have been brought back to life.
While my knees still squeak....
