Thank you all for my birthday wishes this week, I had a lovely day spent with my little family 🥰
I didn’t get to open a single present, because the apprentices had to have a go first to check the quality of the wrapping….and they both got a little carried away 😂 I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

For all of you who asked if I’d got plenty of cake, I got a whole one to myself! Hand picked by my little girl - in her words “I picked it because I know that you love crochet”. I’m so proud of how thoughtful she can be 🥰 so for anyone who needed a little bit of joy this morning, enjoy a slice of my ‘positive cake’ 🎂

Coming to one of my jelly roll classes? I’ve always thought one day I’d make a Christmas quilt but I’ve never quite got round to it….

Maybe 2027’s project jelly roll will have to be a Christmas one 🤔 I’ll log that on my very long list of things I’d like to make!

Merry manor is a beautiful collection of fabrics with gold metallic detail. We’ve got jelly rolls, charm packs & fabrics on the bolt - perfect for borders!

I had a little move around in the shop again this week 👀 you’ll have to spot the changes when you’re next in the shop! Plenty of our customers just laughed at me on Wednesday when they found me up to my eyes in yarn and fabrics…absolutely in my happy place ❤️

If you’ve got a jelly roll tucked up in a cupboard somewhere that you’re not sure what to do with it then perhaps this is the perfect workshop for you.

There’s some prep work that you can do before the workshop if you’ve got the time and hopefully you’ll get lots done in the day!

I told myself I was going to have a little rest from starting anything new whilst I’m concentrating on other things like writing workshops, quilting quilts and finishing the huge pile of ufos that are slowly multiplying 🫣

It’s party time today 😂 it’s my birthday, and also my dad’s too 💙 I never know what to buy because you can’t beat getting child for your birthday can you?! 😂 Happy Birthday Pappa G - see you very soon!

Today I’m sharing these super Christmas stocking panels, they’re a little smaller than the panel I shared yesterday. Which means you get four on each panel, they can be used as front and backs to make two stockings or individually with an extra backing to make four stockings.

There’s a whole host of Christmas fabrics on the shelf that coordinate with the panel - perfect to make different backs or to personalise them.

Below is another panel featuring all the letters of the alphabet which can be used to personalise your makes. Even better…the white printed areas glow in the dark!

It’s birthday eve so it’s only fair to celebrate this week with some of my favourite things for my favourite time of year!! 🎅🏻

Lots of you are already busy making or preparing to make your Christmas goodies & gifts. Yesterday one of Momma G’s completed Christmas stockings set off on a journey to its new home.

Some advent calendar panels also made their way to new homes ready to be made too!

Today I’m sharing these super cute Christmas stocking panels, and coordinating fabrics. We used the Santa fabric on the back of the Santa stocking and snowmen on the back of the snowmen stocking. The red star was used to bind the front and back together.

If you’d like one of the panels they’re just £9.75, if you’d like all the bits to make them into two stockings then I can of course sort all that out for you too. If you’d like to order anything just let me know and I’ll be sure to sort that out for you today.

Whilst I wait for the fabrics to dye for workshops coming this autumn I’ve been busy playing with something else too!

❄️£30 which is split - £15 deposit to reserve your place, remaining £15 paid on the day of the workshop.

Table centrepiece, this one I’ve made completely by hand except from attaching the binding…so there’s no need to bring your machine. So if you fancy a workshop where we simply put this together, and hand sew and chat all day then get in touch to book your place.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed putting these together - the starting point is the pictorial fabric but you can change the rest of the material colours to your own preference if you don’t want to make them exactly like mine, there’s plenty of options from our extensive fabric and felt collection 🤣 I could have made quite a few samples!

It is possible to make them on the machine. If you’d rather make one on the machine then you can still do that too - you’ll just need to bring your machine to the workshop with you.
