Parks, paths and public open spaces need lighting that is safe, welcoming and environmentally responsible.

We designed the lighting for Lancaster University’s cycle path, linking the main campus to the Health Innovation Campus. Because Great Crested Newts were present nearby, we had to create a lighting strategy that protected them while still providing safe use of the route.

This is exactly what sustainable exterior lighting is about — balancing safety with environmental care.
