The Homegrown Market ‘our sister business’ is back with two markets this month

~ KENT Launch Market is tomorrow .lane opens 10-1 (with early pickers at 9)

~ SUSSEX Celebration Market 18th June opens 10-1 (with early pickers at 9)

🍃Come with your buckets and choose your own stems from each individual local grower
🍃Find Florist Sundries ~ pots, vases, strings, snips
🍃Find Gardener Sundries for your cutting gardens & fields ~ Weeding tools, Niwaki Tools, Gloves, Seeds
🍃Botanical artists for inspiration
🍃Water Lane will have teas/coffees/sandwiches/cakes/pastries

It’s going to be really fun so down tools for the morning & don’t forget your buckets (we will have buckets on the door to buy)

Our flower market is back for two markets this month ~ so if you are looking for cut flowers, plants, florist sundries & gardener sundries or just fancy a browse amongst the flowers with tea, sandwiches & cake!

~ Tomorrow is our first Kent market .lane open from 10-1 (or early pickers from 9am) see link for tickets

~ We are then back to Sussex on the 18th June for our celebration market it’s British Flower Week & our birthday!

May was a very busy month with two weddings and it was lovely to receive this lovely feedback today

~ 24th May at Upwaltham Barns

~ Brief ~ Whimsical but not twee with apricots, pinks, yellows with pops of darker

We created

~ Bridal Bouquets, Bridesmaids, Buttonholes, Wrist Corsages

~ Milk Churns outside ceremony barn, ceremony table & chair ends

~ Reception ~ Large Chandelier, wood rounds with bud vases, vintage candlesticks

~ Welcome sign with garland

May ~ we created four weddings in May ~ it was busy but really fun

I created some of my favourite bouquets ~ I love a ‘just picked’ brief ~ it’s not easy creating wild and just picked, needs to be wild enough with lots of texture and interest but still has to have structure and balance

This bouquet was created for a wedding and whimsical enough for their woodland setting

Our bouquets from the weekend ~ a bridal bouquet is not just a hand tie of flowers ~ it’s considered ~ we source all the special bits ~ the twiddly bits ~ the fragrant bits ~ the stems grown in my own garden. We source the ribbon to match the flowers sometimes from my own vintage collections

I think this image says it all!

Two exquisite weddings at Upwaltham Barns this weekend ✨which followed our May so it’s been a busy one and also very HOT!

We designed with the most delicate seasonal blooms in a palette of soft, romantic tones ~ wedding one mostly greens and whites and no 2 with a little more colour!

It is always a true privilege to create for our brides, but this weekend felt especially meaningful — the most wonderful families, bringing such warmth and joy, making every moment of the hard work so worthwhile.

The heat certainly tested us (the hottest of days ☀️)

A special thank you to the wonderful team at for keeping us refreshed with the most delicious elderflower — such thoughtful touches ~ saved the day(s)!

An unforgettable setting, a beautiful atmosphere, and smiles all around.

We’ll be sharing imagery from these beautiful celebrations very soon… ✨
