Originally a Laura Ashley fabric cutting and measuring table, this is a substantial and versatile piece of furniture with excellent storage.
The unit features three cupboards underneath, each with a shelf, providing generous storage space for crockery, linens, or household items. The top currently has a glass insert with fabric displayed underneath, but it could easily be tiled or adapted to create a stunning kitchen island or utility unit.

Contact Hours: 10am – 4pm
Hello everyone,
I have recently had a very large number of customer messages and calls from as early as 7am and 8am, and as late as 11pm.
Please note that my business contact hours are strictly 10am until 4pm.
If you do not receive an immediate response, it is usually because I am either out fitting, visiting a client, or with another customer. I will always do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
My mobile number is not a 24/7 contact service. This is a curtains and blinds business, not heart surgery, and I kindly ask that communication is kept within business hours wherever possible.
As many of you know, the shop will be moving back to the cottage by the end of August. Going forward, all appointments will be by appointment only in your own home, allowing me to continue providing a personal and tailored service.

We have made the decision to bring Peter Neil Interiors back home to the cottage. Having a shop within the Rait Antiques Centre is no longer the right fit for our business.

Over recent years, we have seen a significant increase in requests for home interior consultations, which means we now spend much more of our time visiting clients rather than being based in the shop. Returning to the cottage allows us to focus on providing the personalised, one-to-one interior design service that our clients value most.

We will continue to offer the same high level of service, using the same contact details, with appointments taking place from the cottage or in the comfort of your own home. Visits to the cottage will be strictly by appointment only.

We will also continue to carry an extensive range of fabric, wallpaper and interior samples, allowing us to bring a wide selection directly to our clients.

Our contact details will remain exactly the same. The only change will be our business address, which will take effect at the end of August 2026.

This guest bedroom in a lovely Broughty Ferry home just needed a finishing touch. With a beautiful mix of inherited family furniture and the client’s own pieces, the room already had plenty of character. Adding this fabulous fabric from brought the scheme to life, creating a welcoming space full of colour, charm, and personality.

We chose to frame the windows with handmade pelmets and curtains, using the stripe in two different directions to add interest and highlight the playful nature of the design. The result is a room that feels inviting, perfectly complementing the blend of old and new furnishings.
