I have plenty of other things I could be doing but today I found my stamp collection.

I started stamp collecting back when I was 14. Not your average hobby for a teenage girl, but it was something I could do with my Dad. He was a postman once upon a time and we went to a collectors fair just for a day out. He saw a full French stamp album and bought it for me.

I'm not an obsessive collector but I pick things up when I see packs in charity shops and I think it's about time I sorted them all out. I was going to do it today but discovered I have no hinges to fix them in with. Ah well, never mind.

It's taken me all week, but finally I've got chance to sit at my lovely sewing machine. I've finished the top of a quilt that's a gift and started another one that's been cut out and waiting. With you tube history videos for company it's the perfect antidote to a miserable grey day.
